Bat Trang House
The house has an original use of material and beautiful light by using the outside as a filtering skin. The look is radical and there are surprising elements that work very well.

Mazul
This project is something one can connect to, something more budget. There is beauty in the ordinary, the absence of any particular innovation and ease of accessibility.

Stone Garden
The site and the complexity of Lebanon as a whole is remarkable. The building is going to give a new platform for a sea of ideas in Lebanon. A new seed of how they can live and make their buildings. It is powerful how she didn’t retreat into a western gaze.

Orsted Gardens
It is interesting how they create the intervention. This provides additional space that becomes more fun. This project reflects the capacity of architecture to bring excitement and joy to the city.

My Montessori Garden
The simplicity of the plan and the complexity of the inside and outside works really well for the children. The building is drawn to the scale of the kids: micro scale, micro nature, micro levels. The kids look so happy!

It's a gesture type of architecture. This takes a lot of knowledge and skill, and it pushes the boundary of architecture in a different direction. The building uses a different language and shows diversity. It pushes the ambition of what can be built. This is an unexpected structure that is pushing engineering techniques. This complexity and quality at this scale is quite remarkable. Also the way it sits in its landscape. The whole thing is very inventive.

Nodi
This project demonstrates a very good use of tall timber with quite a magnificent execution and a lot of sensitivity architecturally and  technically. This is a wonderful example of sustainability. There’s something really great about shedding dependency on concrete.

PokoPoko Clubhouse
The judges were impressed by the simple idea of combining three low technology cones made of local pine to create a fitting and unique response externally . The delight of the grouping though is most impressive in the light, scale, proportion and comfort of the group in making a playful clubhouse enjoyed by all ages with a feeling that one lives in a forest.

Helfštýn Castle Palace Reconstruction
The design elegantly inserts fascinating pathways that take the visitors through an unexpected journey and close reading of the existing ruins that wouldn’t be otherwise possible. The architect's choice of contemporary materials combined with exceptional construction gives the insertion itself a warm and rich colours  and textures to complement the ancient construction.

This remarkable project gives new life to an existing industrial complex by adding a new landscape and play area for children .The climbable undulating topographic approach combined with pies and slides encourages children to play safely and freely whilst extending  their imagination and providing a new approach to safe play spaces in urban contexts.

Bamboo Bamboo, Canopy and Pavilions
Canopies and pavilions often offer opportunities to experiment in design. The use of Bamboo has become almost fashionable in recent times; this project however makes an excellent and innovative use of Bamboo in a precious landscape with endless greenery; the new construction “like a cloud” extends nature  without competing with it.

Kamikatsu Zero Waste Center
The Kamikatsu Zero Waste Center is a holistic project which is having a significant impact on its local community and one in which sustainability has been considered from every perspective. The center is acknowledging and celebrating society - it shows the community coming together and contributing. Beyond just a green and beautiful constructed architecture edifice, it is actually a decentralized upcycling factory,  education, community center cafe, retailer and a hotel. This is the green architecture we desperately need.
