# 活动背景 #

2022年8月，北京市发改委批复朝外片区更新示范段公共空间改造提升项目实施方案，这也是北京第一个片区类的公共空间改造项目。

东起东大桥、西至朝阳门，南北分别接壤CBD与三里屯的“朝外”片区，很少被人提及。但在北京“减量发展”的总体方针与建设国际消费中心城市的目标下，“朝外”的核心区位和存量物业量，成为其华丽转身、更新蜕变的优势所在。在此背景下，由昆泰集团进行统筹，CallisonRTKL对朝外片区的升级改造进行概念规划，盈展作为运营方实施首期改造和招商，并联合AECOM进行了公共区域的景观深化设计。方案着眼于城市公共空间，从愿景打造、空间重塑、实施路径探索上，进行了一次有益的城市片区更新实践。

# Event Background #

In August 2022, Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission approved the implementation plan of the public space regeneration and upgrading project in the demonstration section of Chaowai District, which is also the first district-type public space renovation project in Beijing.

The "Chaowai" area, which stretches from Dongdaqiao in the east to Chaoyangmen in the west and borders CBD and Sanlitun in the north and south, is rarely mentioned. However, under the overall policy of "reducing development" of Beijing and the goal of building an international consumption center city, the core location and stock of properties of "outward" have become the advantages of magnificent transformation, renewal and transformation.

Elements in Chaowai District

Based on this background, Kuntai Group plays the role of overall planning. CallisonRTKL is responsible for the conceptual planning of the upgrading and reconstruction of Chaowai Area, URF is the operator for the implementation of the first phase of transformation and investment, and jointly with AECOM for the deepening of the landscape design of the public area. Focusing on urban public space, the project carries out a beneficial practice of urban area renewal from the perspectives of vision building, space remodeling and implementation path exploration.
