Krs Art Exhibition Journey of Dreams
瑞典艺术家Kristoffer Kullengren（Krs） 将在8月4日来到英国曼彻斯特Goose Green Gallery (绿鹅画廊)，与画廊主理人Gorden Allen举办《梦想之旅》艺术展的开幕活动，英国本地的艺术爱好者与收藏者及本地电视台媒体出席。
这将是Krs继中国与日本之后，首次来到英国举办展览与艺术活动。
On August 4th, the Swedish artist Kristoffer Kullengren (Krs) will join Gorden Allen, the owner of the Goose Green Gallery, in Manchester of the UK to hold the very first opening preview of Journey of Dreams art exhibition where local art collectors and TV media will attend.
This art exhibition marks Krs art’s entry of UK market after Japan and China.
作为长驻东京的瑞典艺术家，Krs在过去5年间在中国与日本举办了超过20场独立个展，其展览曾在国家级美术馆，瑞典领事馆，商业画廊与公共空间中进行展出，曾与不同行业顶级品牌包括Illums日本（丹麦设计）与贝希斯坦Bechstein中国（全球顶级钢琴品牌）等进行合作，他也是亚洲数字艺术领域的先锋艺术家，其在日本东京的首个NFT个展，曾由亚洲顶级艺术媒体之一《美术手帖》进行报道，他的数字艺术也曾与阿里巴巴旗下的数字艺术合作，也曾在中国中贸圣佳艺术拍卖行进行首拍。他在2021年8月举办的首个元宇宙艺术展《突变》也成为了国内元宇宙艺术界领先的国际艺术元宇宙展览。
As a Tokyo-based Swedish artist, Kristoffer Kullengren has done more than 20 exhibitions in the past 5 years at national, state-owned art museums, gallery spaces, Swedish embassy and public areas in markets of China and Japan, which makes him a leading artist with influence. His innovative branch into NFT with his NFT exhibition in Tokyo Reprogram for Joy in March 2021, introduced by the leading art media in Asia, Bijutsutecho, together with his very first metaverse art exhibition Transeo in August 2021, has made him one of the top leading artists in NFT field in Asia who leads and shapes how people engage with art through NFTs and metaverse experience. His working partnerships include the very top brands in different fields such as Illums Japan, Bechstein China, Alibaba and Sungari, a China-based top auction house.
通过不断创新与突破，Krs也将他线下实体艺术与数字艺术以及元宇宙体验完美结合。在2022年5月与中国稀物进行合作，打造了结合绘画艺术，原创故事，3D数字艺术以及元宇宙空间的艺术项目“未来历险记”。该项目在与国际领先的元宇宙公司May合作后，艺术家打造出了全新的元宇宙体验，即在一个充满赛博朋克风的名为“新东京”的艺术街道里，体验一场由数字艺术承载的科幻故事。
Through continuous innovations, Krs also perfectly combines his offline physical art with digital art and metaverse experience. In May 2022, his collaboration with then-brand CryptoSpace, and now Xiwu (meaning Rare Commodities), an NFT platform in China, launched his very first NFT project called Future Adventures using 3D avatar NFTs, combined with a science fiction story imagining the future of 2300 in a cyberpunk-style metaverse world called Neo Tokyo, to engage his art collectors through gamified airdrops and NFTs.

Through the combined experience of offline art exhibitions and digital NFTs in metaverse, Krs has formed his own art community in China and Japan, and now, through the collaboration with Goose Green Gallery, creating his fanbase in the UK via the upcoming art exhibition Journey of Dreams for the purpose to build a bridge connecting art communities in China, Japan and the UK.

The reason why Krs' art is popular in culturally-diverse markets is his unique imagination expressed in colors, his oftentimes simple yet abstract and philosophically profound images, his deep understanding of eastern and western cultures, and his choice of creating always from a child’s perspective. So, it is no brainer that his art is chosen and displayed at diverse places including state-owned art museums, galleries, public spaces and embassies because it can resonate with diverse people despite their age and cultural background.

This is the very first time Krs art is launching high-end limited prints in UK market through the collaboration with Goose Green Gallery for the purpose to spread the power of dreams, love and hope through his art to reach more audience. Journey of Dreams has selected the featured artworks out of the major Krs art exhibitions between 2018 and 2021 as a way to also display his own journey of becoming.

玛丽 居里 Marie Curie

其中创作于2021年的《玛丽 居里》是艺术家关于女性人物创作中最为代表性的作品，该作品将爱穿蓝色长袍的居里夫人，以及自己研究放射性元素时的笔记融入作品之中，展示的是作为女科学家的她对真理信仰般的追求与勇气。
Among the artworks, Marie Curie, created in 2021, is one featured Krs art for female figures. The work images integrated Marie Curie’s love of wearing blue, her own notes of discovering radioactive elements and her tenacious spirit and bravery of chasing truth as a female scientist of her time.
火烈鸟 Flamingo

而作品《火烈鸟》则创作于2018年，其灵感来自于艺术家一场梦境。在梦境中，夜雨纷纷，窗户被风吹打着，想起身关上窗户的他发现窗前站着一只火烈鸟，让他跟随，展开一场梦境般的探险。醒来之后，艺术家将火烈鸟画在纸上，从此它便成为梦中探险的象征。
Flamingo, on the other hand, was created in 2018 out of Krs’ dreams. In the dream, he saw a flamingo standing in the moonlight at a window blown-open by the night’s rain and wind, asking him whether he’d like to join him for an adventure which he said yes to. And, after waking up, he painted the flamingo in his dream which became a character symbolizing the beginning of a dream-like adventure.

创作于2021年初的《智能蚂蚁》，是艺术家《突变》元宇宙展览的核心作品，展示的是艺术家对由科技主导的未来世界的幻想。在这个幻想之中，智能蚂蚁成为人类星际世界里，在外星建筑人类文明的智能机器人。
Artificial Ants, created in early 2021, was a featured artwork of Krs’ very first metaverse exhibition Transeo whose theme is an imagined future of humanity co-living with dominating technology. In this imagination into the future, artificial ants are the building robots of civilization in other planets in the universe.

此次 Krs 也将带来两幅从未展出过的珍藏版艺术原作《大雁塔》与《海盗图》。
What makes this art exhibition special is that Krs is bringing two of his original artworks which were never exhibited before, Goose Pagoda and Pirate Treasure.
这两幅作品分别创作于2018年11月与3月。其中《大雁塔》是艺术家在2018年来到西安当代美术馆《梦与现实》展览之后所创。这幅作品以中国佛教发源地的大雁塔为核心意象，融入了中国元素，以及Krs自己独特的语言符号，让这幅作品拥有一种对佛教的敬意与对西安之旅的留念。
Both of these two artworks were created in 2018, November and March respectively. Goose Pagoda was created around the image of the pagoda, the origin of Buddhism in China, with colors, codes and language of Krs to express a feeling of respect and love for the journey in Xi An.
《海盗图》则是一幅非常珍贵的作品。这幅作品是Krs迄今为止3幅关于海盗主题的创作，而这幅图描绘了一个寻到珍贵宝藏的Kero，在海盗的弹火纷飞之中，带着宝藏逃离的场景。
Being one of the very three pirate-related themes of Krs art, Pirate Treasure is a very special artwork where Kero, a character that symbolizes the source of creativity, is escaping a battlefield of pirates after having found treasures.
作为首次进入英国市场的Krs艺术，Krs将通过他的艺术，分享他自身的艺术之旅，来让更多的人在他的艺术中品味出创作背后的精神：为实现梦想的不懈努力，通过艺术传递爱的精神。
As it is the very first time for Krs art to enter UK market, Krs will share his own art story through this exhibition Journey of Dreams – the spirit, inspiration and purpose for his art: the grit for building dreams into reality and the power of love.
