将地形作为设计元素的融入建筑在某种程度上采用了洞穴的概念，从最初的自然配置和建筑干预的混合中加强了庇护和接待的概念。因此，以一种综合的、不可分割的方式，将建筑和地形结合在一起，一方面成为现有景观的延续，另一方面成为对土地自然坡度的谨慎干预，创造出连接室内和室外的开口，为室内空间带来自然照明和通风。
The integration of terrain as a design element into the architecture, to some extent, adopts the concept of cave, and strengthens the concept of shelter and reception from the mixture of initial natural configuration and architectural intervention. Therefore, in an integrated and indivisible way, the combination of architecture and terrain, on the one hand, becomes a continuation of the existing landscape, on the other hand, it becomes a prudent intervention in the natural slope of the land, creating an opening connecting indoor and outdoor, bringing natural lighting and ventilation to the indoor space.
希腊嵌入地表住宅
Ncaved / MOLD Architects
Ncaved住宅位于希腊塞里夫斯岛上的一个幽僻的小岩湾上，它像是悬在海平面上。选址有迷人的海景，但却完全暴露在强北风之下。为了创建一个有保护的遮蔽，我们决定从斜坡往下挖，而非在地面上排列一组空间。
Ncaved residence is located on a secluded small rock bay on the Greek island of Sirius, which seems to be hanging on the sea level. The site has charming sea view, but it is completely exposed to strong north wind. To create a protective shelter, we decided to dig down the slope rather than arrange a set of spaces on the ground.
在斜坡上运用了一个矩形的网格，从此发展出由实体和留白组成的三维“棋盘”。这个“棋盘”既适应又孤立了居民区。为了给客厅更广阔的视野，网格最后一根轴线旋转，严格的几何形状从而中断。轴线的平移将大大强调了透视感，因此这个住宅的印记最小化，像是消失在了在斜坡的末端。
A rectangular grid is used on the slope, from which a three-dimensional "chessboard" composed of solid and blank is developed. This "chessboard" has both adapted to and isolated residential areas. In order to give the living room a wider view, the last axis of the grid rotates and the strict geometric shape is interrupted. The translation of the axis will greatly emphasize the sense of perspective, so the imprint of the house is minimized, as if it disappeared at the end of the slope.
蒙萨拉斯之屋
Aires Mateus
面对埃尔奇瓦(Alqueva) 大湖的无边无际，这个房屋建筑需要一个中心，即一个受到保护并拥抱水源的庭院。利用地形浇筑而成的穹顶结构覆盖整个社交空间，而这便是是房子的生活中心。一个倒穹顶与其相交并创造出一个开口得以照亮空间，塑造其精确的几何形状以及边界。
Facing the infinity of the Great Lake Alqueva, this house building needs a center, that is, a courtyard that is protected and embraces the water. The dome structure poured from the terrain covers the entire social space, which is the life center of the house. An inverted dome intersects it and creates an opening that illuminates the space, shaping its precise geometry and boundaries.
Aguacates 住宅

建筑坐落于群山之间，一年四季都享有宜人的气候环境与令人惊叹的自然景观。住宅所在的山谷占地三公顷，山谷中种植了一片茂盛的鳄梨树林，山坡向下延伸到茂密的森林和峡谷中。
The building is located among mountains, enjoying a pleasant climate and amazing natural landscape all year round. The valley where the residence is located covers an area of three hectares. A lush avocado forest is planted in the valley, and the hillside extends down into the dense forest and canyon.
设计核心围绕着保护自然元素的理念展开，旨在对周边环境的产生最小的影响。最终，建筑以一种隐秘、低调的姿态呈现出来，鳄梨树的嫩芽在建筑上萌发生长，俯瞰着森林与树梢。由于业主夫妇热衷于悬挂式滑翔机，因此他们对建筑的“第五立面”特别感兴趣，他们希望第五立面能够与其他部分一样经过精心设计，当从天空俯瞰时，住宅能够自然地融入环境之中。
The core of the design is around the concept of protecting natural elements, aiming to have the least impact on the surrounding environment. Finally, the building is presented in a secret and low-key manner. The buds of avocado trees sprout and grow on the building, overlooking the forest and tree tops. As the owners and their wives are keen on hang gliders, they are particularly interested in the "fifth facade" of the building. They hope that the fifth facade can be carefully designed like other parts, and when viewed from the sky, the house can naturally blend into the environment.

本设计采用的挡土石墙先制造一个人工景观，该设施农村和家庭都能使用。
The earth rock retaining wall used in this design first creates an artificial landscape, which can be used in rural areas and families.
场地形状为马鞍形，两边是两个斜坡。沿南北轴两山之间斜坡是上升的，而东西轴方向的斜坡则是下降的，场地开阔，能够看到大海的景色。两个长的石墙桥接着小山坡，允许着在这空间里打造这个居住的小窝。这个简单的设计将房子的边缘模糊化掉，使其在岛上广泛的天际线下难以察觉。
The site is saddle shaped with two slopes on both sides. The slope between the two mountains along the north-south axis is rising, while the slope along the east-west axis is falling. The site is open and you can see the scenery of the sea. Two long stone wall bridges connect with the hillside, allowing the construction of this small dwelling in this space. This simple design blurs out the edges of the house, making it difficult to detect under the island's extensive skyline.
纯粹的海边希腊小屋
Ktima House / Camilo Rebelo + Susana Martins
这个项目的主要创意来自于两个元素：在不同水平面上现存的墙体，以及由这些墙体所构成的平台。通过延长场地现存墙体的水平线，我们得到了这两间住宅的海拔高度。同时，场地特有的地形使得整个房屋与土地相融。
The main idea of this project comes from two elements: the existing walls at different levels and the platform formed by these walls. By extending the horizontal line of the existing walls of the site, we obtained the elevation of the two residences. At the same time, the unique terrain of the site makes the whole house blend with the land.
