客户想要一个可以举办大型聚会和舒适住宿、紧密联系的儿童社区的家。为了实现这一目标，设计师努力阐明三个层次中的每一个，并确保私人和共享空间之间的自然平衡。进入一楼的房屋后，一条光线充足的通道将带您经过一系列内部庭院，进入宽敞的厨房、起居和用餐空间。这个有趣的“中心”延伸到一个户外用餐露台和北跨花园，设有游泳池，水疗中心和篮球场。家庭办公室和大型家庭图书馆可容纳在家工作和学习，隐藏在家的前面，远离活动。

The client wanted a home for a close-knit children's community that could host large gatherings and comfortable accommodations. To achieve this, the designers worked hard to articulate each of the three levels and ensure a natural balance between private and shared spaces. Upon entering the first-floor home, a light-filled passage leads you through a series of interior courtyards and into the generous kitchen, living and dining spaces. Extending to an outdoor dining patio and north span garden, this fun "hub" features a swimming pool, spa and basketball court. A home office and large home library accommodate working and learning from home, tucked away at the front of the home, away from activities.

The home takes its name from the striking exterior, clad in limestone tiles and handcrafted bricks of a similar color. The two substrates run throughout the first floor, with sandblasted wood drift veneer joinery, brass accents and warm oak ceilings. Cool grey linen sheer curtains add softness to each window, filtering the northern lights throughout the day. Delicate shades of olive green, walnut, pale pink and teal furniture sit harmoniously within the stone shell, allowing custom-designed light fixtures and contemporary art to sing.
