安德鲁·怀斯（Wyeth，Andrew，1917～2009），美国20世纪最伟大的画家之一，20世纪世界最著名、最杰出的画家之一，美国超级写实主义绘画的代表人物。他1917年7月12日出生在美国，15岁开始学画，20岁举办个人画展，长于干笔画和蛋胶粉画，作品继承写实传统，又独树一帜，颇得人们心灵的共鸣和喜爱，曾先后被三届美国总统肯尼迪、里根、布什分别授予“总统自由勋章”、“金质总统勋章”和“国会金质章”，2009年1月16日凌晨，怀斯在家中去世，享年91岁。
