FRANEK（Sabine Franek-Koch）1939年出生于波茨坦。1959年起在柏林艺术学院（现柏林艺术大学）师从Fred Thieler和Mac Zimmermann学习绘画和版画。她的第一次个展于 1968 年在西柏林的 Pels-Leusden 画廊举行。其他人则在国内外的画廊、艺术俱乐部和博物馆中追随。她曾在柏林艺术学院、赫尔辛基和拉赫蒂艺术与设计大学以及不来梅艺术大学任教。
