“咖啡磨坊”是位于爱琴海国际大都市米科诺斯岛的一家时尚咖啡馆。山顶上白色的风车已经成为这个岛的标志，几乎所有的人都知道。

Coffee Mill is a trendy cafe in Mykonos, the cosmopolitan island of the Aegean Sea.

The white washed windmills at the top of the hill have become the trademark of the island, recognized all over the world.

将风车与传统的咖啡磨结合起来。由两个风车帆(负空间)形成的风车屋顶指向上方，象征着进化。该设计以中对齐，弯曲的小写字母清晰友好。色调以黑色和米色为主，凸显了café的奢华和拿铁咖啡的颜色。“coffee mill”这个名字包含了三个双字母，两个“f”，两个“e”和两个“l”。为了克服重复，在字母“ff”中使用了排版的连接。

The world known iconic symbol of the island inspired us for the creation of the logo, leading us to combine the windmills with the traditional coffee mill. Both mills created something unique and exclusive for Mykonos. Concerning the designing process, the windmill roof, shaped by two windmill sails (negative space), is pointing upwards symbolizing evolution.

The design is center-aligned, with curved and lowercase letters that are clear and friendly. The color palette is based on black and beige, to highlight the luxury of the café and the colors of a latte coffee. A problem we faced while designing the logo was that the name “coffee mill” includes three double letters, two “f’s”, two “e’s and two “l’s”. To overcome the repetition we used a ligature of typography in the letters “ff”.
