李茂的艺术创作，在表现内容上，大多以意象与抽象的形态为主，结合油画、丙烯、以及其他多种媒介，进行绘画语言的探索。表现方法上，也未完全遵循传统的表现技法，进行了多种表现方式的尝试，从而进一步去理解平面的分割与利用的科学以及对视觉元素的理解和阐释，探索绘画艺术创作的更多可能。

Li Mao's artistic creation, in terms of expression content, mostly focuses on intention and abstract form, and combines oil painting, propylene and other media to explore the language of painting. In terms of expression methods, they also did not fully follow the traditional expression techniques, and tried various expression methods to further understand the science of plane segmentation and utilization and the understanding and interpretation of visual elements，explore more possibilities of painting art creation.

李茂，男，工作于四川大学，博士，副教授，硕士生导师，从事艺术（计算艺术）创作、研究与教学工作，四川省美术家协会会员，四川省数字媒体艺术协会理事。
