Al-Khor, Qatar – The first World Cup to be held in the Middle East has kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony inside Al Bayt Stadium, a facility designed to resemble a traditional Bedouin tent.

The ceremony was centred around the theme of unity and inclusivity.

20日的开幕式时长为30分钟，由好莱坞明星摩根弗里曼和卡塔尔的奇迹男孩，本土和亚洲的艺人带来充满海湾风情的表演。所在体育场的设计取材于传统的贝都因帐篷。仪式以团结、梦想和包容为主题，异域画风呈现出主办国阿拉伯文化的特点。

Visiting fans will receive an authentic introduction to the heart of Qatari and regional culture as soon as they step foot in Al Bayt Stadium. Located in Al Khor, a city famous for its pearl diving and fishing, Al Bayt Stadium was inspired by the bayt aI sha’ar tents used by the nomadic people in the region for centuries.

The upper tier of Al Bayt Stadium was designed to be removed after the tournament and donated to developing nations across the world.

Al Bayt 体育场自14年至22年历经8年修建，宏伟的帐篷结构包围着一个超现代的开幕式足球场，也是八个当中唯一具备室内比赛功能的场馆。

来访的球迷一踏入这里，便会真切感受到卡塔尔的中心和区域文化。海湾体育场位于Al Khor艾豪尔市，是一座以潜水采珠和捕鱼而闻名的城市。设计灵感来自该地区游牧民族几个世纪以来都会使用的贝都因帐篷：“它建在哪里，家就在哪里”。秉承环保理念，Al Bayt 体育场的上层看台将在比赛结束后拆除，捐赠给世界各地的发展中国家。

Al Thumama Stadium sits south of Doha's glittering skyline. The stadium’s bold, circular form reflects the gahfiya – a traditional woven cap worn by both men and young boys across the Middle East for centuries.

Education City Stadium lives within its namesake – a 12km2 development featuring various educational facilities, including satellite campuses of eight international universities.

Design reflects a diamond in the desert. A striking stadium that changes colour as the sun moves across the sky, the design draws on the rich history of Islamic architecture, blending it with striking modernity.

Al Janoub Stadium’s design brings Al Wakrah’s fishing and pearl diving history to life. Located in one of Qatar's oldest continuously inhabited areas，Its graceful lines and flowing curves were inspired by traditional dhow boats weaving through the currents of the Gulf. This futuristic arena bridges the old and new – a strong visual representation of Qatar's drive to reach beyond its shores.

After the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, Al Janoub Stadium will become a new home for sport and entertainment in southern Qatar.
