2022年7月11日，「想象力之心」宁波象山人民广场片区实施性城市设计和概念性建筑与景观设计国际竞赛预审会在象山成功举办。竞赛预审评委组在实地考察本次竞赛范围、了解竞赛背景及内容后，经细致审阅、讨论及慎重评选，最终，4 家参赛单位从来自全球 13 个国家的 90 个国际顶尖规划设计单位、事务所提交的共计 39 份有效报名文件中脱颖而出，与定向邀请的 3 家单位一起，入围本次竞赛的正式方案阶段。
On July 11, 2022, the Prequalification Review of「HEART OF IMAGINATION」 Ningbo Xiangshan People's Square Area Urban Design and Conceptual Architecture and Landscape Design International Competition was held in Xiangshan. After a site visit to the competition areas and an understanding of the background and content, the judging panel of pre-qualification review conducted a thorough discussion and careful selection. 4 participating units were selected from a total of 39 valid submissions from 90 leading international planning and design firms from 13 countries worldwide, and they were shortlisted for the phase for design submission and final review of the competition, along with 3 invited participating units.

Pre-qualification Review
本次竞赛的预审评委组共7人，由3名终审评委代表（孟建民先生、李翔宁先生、马卫东先生），2名专家代表（仲德崑先生、刘克成先生），以及2名政府代表（林丽英女士、王忠凯先生）组成。根据当地防疫要求，无法现场参评的评委以线上视频会议的方式全程同步参与本次预审会。
The judging panel for the pre-qualification review consisted of 7 people, including 3 representatives of the final review panel (MENG Jianmin, LI Xiangning, MA Weidong), 2 expert representatives (ZHONG Dekun, LIU Kecheng), and 2 government representatives (LIN Liying, WANG Zhongkai). According to the epidemic policy requirements, the judges who were unable to come to the scene participated in the whole meeting through an online video conference.
在预审流程正式开始前，预审评委组共同前往本次竞赛的地块进行实地踏勘。而后评委组回到预审会现场，对本次竞赛的项目背景、竞赛目标、设计内容及竞赛规则等相关情况进行全面的了解，正式启动本次评审环节。
Before the formal start of the pre-qualification process, the judging panel went to the areas of the competition for a site visit. The panel then returned to the meeting hall, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the project background, competition expectations, design content, competition rules, and other related situations, to officially launch the review.

预审过程中，评委们遵循预审评审规则，充分审阅所有报名材料，并进行多轮审慎投票和打分；在监督员及公证处的全程监督下，唱票员、统分员对评委的投票和评分结果进行如实记录和仔细统计。
During the pre-qualification review, the judges followed the pre-qualification review rules, fully reviewed all application materials, and conducted several rounds of voting and scoring prudently; under the on-site supervision, the tellers and scorers truthfully checked the judges' voting and scoring results.
