宇宙由基本粒子构成，基本粒子是组成各种各样物体的基础：轻子、夸克、规范玻色子。越来越小的距离尺度揭示了更基本的自然观，也就是说，如果我们能理解和描述最小的尺度，我们就能理解最大的尺度。绘画中的每一个笔触，都是作品的最小微粒，他们既是组成宇宙万物的每一粒沙，也是我们记忆的每一个点。无数的微粒单独存在时可能并没有太多的意义或价值，就像是微观世界；距离拉远一些，宏观来看，才能看到整体的画面。印象派永不落伍，它只是换了一种形态继续存在。

The universe is composed of elementary particles, which are the basis for the composition of a wide variety of objects: leptons, quarks, and canonical bosons. The smaller and smaller distance scales reveal a more fundamental view of nature, that is, if we can understand and describe the smallest scale, we can understand the largest scale. Each brushstroke in a painting is the smallest particle of the work, and they are both every grain of sand that makes up everything in the universe and every point of our memory. The countless particles may not have much meaning or value when they exist alone, like a microcosm; it is only when they are distanced and viewed macroscopically that the overall picture can be seen. Impressionism never goes out of fashion, it just continues to exist in a different form.
