Just steps from the beach, this well-located residence replaces an existing building on the site that could not be restored. While there are clear differences between the area's traditionally styled home case, this approach reinterprets similar natural finishes and directional openings to make the most of the location. Between the comfort of the main town and the openness of the ocean, the overall formal approach reflects elements influenced by both. Light tones and shades capture the ever-moving water and subtly changing sand tones. At the same time, the proportions and silhouettes still respect the existing and established rhythm of the streetscape.

A full basement and a separate pool wrap around the outdoor pool as a key focal point, the spaces come together in an L-shape. Numerous glazing optimises views and enhances the view of the house, ensuring a view connection between interior and exterior.
