在全球化的发展过程中，各个国家和民族的文化相互促进，和谐发展。正是因为文化是多样化的，不同民族、不同地区、不同历史都会有不同的文化形态，保持着各自的特色，呈现出多元和谐发展的局面。正是立足于这样的时代背景，G+AWARDS (GLOBAL+ DESIGNER COMPETITION,中文:G+AWARDS全球设计精英大赛)应运而生，由来自全球多个国家具有影响力的国际设计组织联合发起与参评组织运营。

In the process of globalization, the cultures of all countries and nations promote each other to develop harmoniously. Each nation or region has a different cultural pattern because of cultural diversity and they contribute to a diverse and harmonious world culture by preserving their cultural characteristics.It is based on this background of the times, the G+AWARDS (GLOBAL+DESIGNER COMPETITION) was born,co-sponsored and operated by influential international design organizations from many countries around the world.

2021年,中国、美国、意大利、新加坡、阿联酋率先加入此全球性大型设计交流发展计划，共同向全球设计精英发出了一个倡议：“全球思考，在地行动！”（Think global, act local!）。

In 2021, China, the United States, Italy, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates took the lead in joining this large-scale global design exchange development program, jointly sent an initiative to the global designer: "Think Global,Act Local! ”（Think global, act local!）

G+AWARDS is a global design and cultural exchange development program,committed to promoting global cultural and design communication, common development and improvement, for the global designer to build a multi-competition platform of design value, design exchanges, design linkage, and will promote the global cultural and creative industries and design works related areas of closer exchanges and cooperation, promote exchanges and dialogue among different cultures around the world, open up a new path of innovation and development and build a broader platform for cooperation.

In 2021, G+AWARDS brings together five national professional design organizations to create a global design competition,which solicits outstanding space design projects from design elites around the world and encourage them to look at diversified design cultures and practices featuring glocalization from a global perspective.

通过在全球语境下的评选，盘点备受国际认可的设计力作和设计精英，以此推举出全球范围内杰出的设计精英，挖掘设计精英的创新设计理念和观点，向全球呈现出当代设计精英价值观，进一步呼吁人类美好生活福祉。

Through the global context of the selection, inventory of the internationally recognized design and designer, in order to select the world's outstanding designer, mining the designers innovative design concepts and perspectives, to present the world's contemporary design elite values, and further call for a better life and well-being of mankind.

2021G+AWARDS全球总决赛，G+AWARDS年度重磅收官活动。作为一个全球性大型设计交流发展计划，G+AWARDS在全球总决赛将迎来来自中国、美国、意大利、新加坡、阿联酋五个国家的五位全球冠军候选人进行主题分享交流，由来自全球设计产业关联领域的设计专家、媒体人、意见领袖等组成2021G+AWARDS全球总决赛评审委员会，共同票选2021G+AWARDS全球冠军，并举行2021G+AWARDS年度颁奖典礼，让全球设计精英进行良性循环的交互，推动全球设计力量的发展。

2021 G+AWARDS Global Finals,the annual grand finale of G+AWARDS.As a large-scale project for global design exchange and development, G+AWARDS will welcome five global finalists from China, the United States, Italy, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates to share ideas on “Think global, act local”.The Global Champion is voted by the 2021G+AWARDS Global Final Judging Committee, which is composed of experts on design, media, and authority leaders from the related fields of the global design industry. The G+AWARDS Annual Awarding Ceremony will be held after the finals.G+AWARDS set up a platform for global design elites to interact with each other in a virtuous cycle, promoting the development of global design.

G+AWARDS在全球总决赛，由来自中国、美国、意大利、新加坡、阿联酋五个国家的五位全球冠军候选人进行主题分享交流。我们将陆续公布所有全球冠军候选人，并对他们的设计作品进展示。

The G+AWARDS Global Finals will be having five global finalists from China, the USA, Italy, Singapore, UAE to share and exchange on the stage. We will announce all the global finalists and present their design works in the following tweets.

在此之前，五位全球冠军侯选人中已经公布了全球冠军候选人-中国·张海曼先生以及全球冠军侯选人-意大利·GIANMARIA QUARTA先生，本周亮相的是全球冠军侯选人—美国·张继元女士。以下为大家带来张继元设计师的四个设计作品：北理工文体中心、曲靖历史博物馆、五里春秋泛文化中心、英良石材自然历史博物馆。

We had already announced two global finalists , Mr.Haiman Zhang and Mr. GIANMARIA QUARTA, from China and Italy, respectively. This week, we will announced the third finalist-Yingfan Zhang- from America. The following part shows her entries- BIT Sports Center 、Museum for Qujing Culture Center、WuliEpoch Culture Center and Yingliang Stone Natural History Museum.

时境建筑设计事务所创始合伙人

Founder Partner of Atelier Alter Architects

张继元（美籍）设计师毕业于哈佛大学建筑设计研究生院城市设计专业、纽约全额奖学金库珀联盟学院(Cooper Union)建筑学专业，曾任职于RMJM North America建筑事务所, Atelier Raimund Abraham雷蒙.亚伯拉罕建筑师事务所。与合伙人卜骁骏成立Atelier Alter工作室。张继元（美籍）女士的作品擅长于以西方的艺术手法对特有的基地文脉进行挖掘与再创作，从抽象的诗意中，传达对人文与社会的关怀。

Yingfan Zhang, a founding partner of Atelier Alter, received her Bachelor of Architecture from The Cooper Union School of Architecture, her Master of Architecture in Urban Design form Harvard University. Prior to starting Atelier Alter, she worked for Atelier Raimund Abraham and RMJM North America. Her ongoing research focuses on architecture syntax and culture context.

在城市与建筑两个维度上，项目旨在建立一个多维的开放的校园，同时培养学生的身心健康，丰富学生的课外活动，空间上的透明度可以鼓励学生跨学科之间开展对话。

The project creates a porous campus that encourages visual and physical access to abundant activities, in urban and architecture scale. Transparency in space inspires trans-disciplinary dialogues among students.

这个新的活动空间给学生和校园带来了新的社交人脉网和新的教学模式：在一个活跃的领域中，从灵感中获取灵感.

New social space triggers new networking and new model of education: learning from being inspired, in an active open field.

文体中心为学校增添了约15700平方米的运动空间，包括篮球场、游泳馆、健身房、跆拳道馆、乒乓球馆等活动空间。

The project offers 15,692 sqm of indoor athletic space, including basketball hall, swimming pool, and spaces for gymnasium, taekwondo, table tennis, etc.

我们从达芬奇的飞行器以及军事科学中广泛应用的抛物线中汲取灵感，延续了达芬奇的科学、建筑和艺术之间的跨学科对话。

The project reiterates Da Vinci’s interdisciplinary dialogue between science, architecture, and art, through reconstructing Da Vinci’s “Flying Machine” with “trajectory parabola.”

Museum for Qujing Culture Center

|曲靖历史博物馆

曲靖是个独特的城市，有两种奇观发生在此：爨[cuàn]碑和拥有四万亿年历史的鬼鱼化石。爨碑界定了一个中国书法风格的诞生，而鱼化石的发现改写了人类的生物史观。考古遗迹既是隐喻的，又是项目的主题。柏拉图曾语：“不管任何，一旦存在了，就再也不能停止其存在”。在当下的城市发展大潮语境中，寄希望于一系列重要建筑的实现，这座城市的人民以及他们的集体意识都期待着一次重生。

Qujing is one of a kind. Two impossible miracles co-exist in city of Qujing: the Longyan Tablet and a fish fossil of 4,000-billion-year-old. While Longyan Tablet marks the invention of a prominent calligraphic style, the fish fossil rewrites geology in human history. The archaeological relics are both metaphor and subject matter of the project. According to Plato, “whatever once exists can never cease to exist,” the collective consciousness of the city and her citizens awaits a resurrection, in a contemporary setting, through the materialization of a series of significant projects.

博物馆的入口设置在建筑体量的中心，参观者被抬升到一个实体的平台上，在空间中的一个至关重要的位置开始他们的路线。这个垂直广场是被一系列逐渐散开的台阶和与它成镜像关系的屋顶所定义的，这个逐渐悬挑出去的屋檐呈现了一个反重力的建筑宣言，带给观者极大的惊喜。在此，观者体验到了巨大的空间以及变迁中的曲靖城市。强烈呈现的虚空间再一次强化了建筑主题的重量感——四万亿年厚重的历史。

The museum is entered through center of building mass. Audiences are elevated to a concrete plateau, as they begin their exhibition routes at a strategic point in space. A vertical plaza is defined by processional steps and its echoing suspended roof. The graduate suspension of the enormous roof presents an “anti-gravity” architecture statement that puts the audiences in awe. One could experience the immensity of space and time the city occupies. The strong presence of the void reinstates the gravitas of the museum’s subject matter: a profound history dates back over 4,000 billion years.

垂直的景观形态从屋顶一直延伸到地面，当参观者穿越景观进入到展览区域，地形和人类的记忆同时收敛在一起。

A vertical landscape made of concrete drapes down from roof to the ground. As audiences penetrate the landscape and reach to the exhibition zone, geography and humanity converge at that every moment.

建筑并没有被同化为地段内涵的一种比喻：梯田、化石或是书法，而是用自身的形式表达在实体与抽象之间、日常的与不熟悉之间形成了一种对话。

Instead of assimilating into analogies of the site—terrace field, fossil grain, or calligraphic strokes—the formal expression of the architecture is in dialogue between the concrete and the abstract, the familiar and the unfamiliar.

WuliEpoch Culture Center

|五里春秋泛文化艺术中心

被北京壮丽的西山景观包围的五里春秋泛文化艺术中心试图创造一个建筑、景观、室内三位一体的项目，它的建筑和室内设计试图让观者可以体验身临其境的被景观环绕的感受。

WuliEpoch Culture Center attempts to create a triptych for architecture, landscape and interior design in the project. While the project is encompassed by the splendor Western Hills, the architecture and interior design put up an immersive show within the landscape.

一条连续的从外到内的坡道盘旋上升，远处的景观被动态的而不是静止的引入到建筑中来，此时，景观的“第一本质”便和室内的“第二本质”无缝的联系在了一起。由于室内外都紧密围绕着景观展开，这个向上的路径空间的气氛在某种程度上具有了一种朝拜自然的仪式感。

The distance landscape is introduced to the project in a dynamic rather than static way. A continuous path wrapped around from exterior to interior. The first nature of landscape and the second nature of the interior space join seamlessly through the path. The ambience along the path is circumferential and religious to some extent, as a way to worship nature.

Yingliang Stone Natural History Museum

|英良石材自然历史博物馆

英良石材自然历史博物馆位于中国南方沿海城市厦门的一家石业公司办公室总部。经过多年的石头开采，制造商成立了一个私人科研团队，在世界范围内收集了大量的化石，他们决定把这些化石收藏在博物馆里。

Yingliang Stone Natural History Museum sites at the office headquarter of a stone manufacture in Xiamen, a coastal city in Southern China. Over years of stone mining, the manufacture has established a private archeological team to discover numerous fossils, which they decide to house in a museum.

项目将采石所特有的石材解剖原理转化为空间划分机制，对立方体空间进行相应的切割。该项目只坚持一个建筑元素——墙体——以保持原址的一致性和真实性。博物馆产业升级为“产业+文化”模式。

The project transforms the principal of stone dissection, which is specific to stone mining, into a spatial division mechanism, to cut the cubical space accordingly.The project stick to only one architecture element—the wall—to keep the consistency and authenticity for the project.The museum upgrades industry to an “industry+culture” mode.

张海曼先生是TTD广州本至设计事务所创始人，毕业于广州美术学院。2013年创立本至设计，拥有多年设计及管理经验。善于将自然元素融入到空间中，崇尚自然建造理念。同时，从现代艺术作品中汲取灵感，把对艺术作品的思考和对空间的思考结合，空间即艺术。

Mr.Haiman Zhang, graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, is the founder of TTD Guangzhou Benzhi Decoration Design Co., Ltd. He is experienced in design and management since he founded the design firm in 2013. Advocating the concept of natural construction, he is good at integrating natural elements into the design. Meanwhile, he seeks his inspiration from modern arts, combining thinking on arts with thinking on space that space is art.

设计的项目类型包括商业类，地产类，文旅类等，针对不同的地域风貌，文化及环境，进行实地调研考察，提供设计方案。作品曾获得日本IDPA AWARD国际先锋设计奖，日本IDPA AWARD TOP100国际影响力创新设计师大奖，法国FRANCE DESIGN AWARD法国双面神国际设计大奖银奖，法国双面神国际设计大奖，2019年获得TOP100国际影响力创新设计师奖。2021年获得美国缪斯设计大奖银奖，意大利A’Design Awards设计大奖银奖，作为中国青年杰出设计师，张海曼先生一直砥砺前行，不断探索设计的更多可能。

The types of his works include commercial space, estate, cultural tourism, etc. Because of different regional features, cultures, and environments, he makes field investigations and gives suitable design schemes. He has been awarded Japan International Pioneer Design Award(IDPA), Japan TOP100 International Influence Innovation Designer AWARD(IDPA), FRANCE DESIGN AWARD Silver AWARD, GPDP AWARDS. In 2019, he was awarded TOP100 | International Influential Innovative Designer Award, and also in this year, he won the second prize of MUSE Design Awards and the silver medal of A’Design Awards. As an outstanding middle-young-aged designer in China, he has been forging ahead and exploring more possibilities of design.

Gianmaria Quarta先生毕业于意大利米兰理工大学，在与合伙人Michele Armando成立Q&A之前，他曾在上海、柏林和米兰任职，参与了一系列建筑设计、城市规划和景观设计的综合项目，担任概念设计、设计开发和策划。

Mr.Gianmaria Quarta graduated from Polytechnic of Milan, majoring in Architecture and Urbanism. Before setting up Q&A with his partner Mr. Michele Armando, he had been working in Shanghai, Berlin, Milan. Mr.Quarta has been involved in a number of integrated projects in architectural design, urban planning and landscape design, serving as concept designer, design developer and planner.
