The application of plaster and microcement reflects the European context of the Eindhoven house and accentuates the broad curves that soften each space. Carpeted floors in the living room, bedroom and walk-in bathrobe create a peaceful retreat, while upholstered furniture invites tranquility. In keeping with the common areas, the bathrooms are clad in the same tiles as the common areas, with copper fixtures and mid-century style cork joinery.

An inspired collaboration between designer and client resulted in a very individual family home. The home's rich material palette warms the space. The owner's "favorite nook" is a sunken lounge with tribal prints and antiques. The designer also injected other soft furnishings, mirrors and F-lights that reflect the charm of the owners. The "sensual curves" of the island bench in warm elk wood anchor the home's kitchen and accentuate its eclectic personality.
