BLACK ROCK, DISCOVER YOUR WHISKY FLAVOR.

四年一度的世界杯终于到来，Black Rock邀请您来现场观赛，感受激动时刻！起源于英国伦敦的Black Rock，致力于将风味带到最前沿，让人们以全新方式认识威士忌。这个概念在2016 年首次推出，将威士忌风味简化为甜美、香料、水果、芬芳、平衡、烟熏这几个特征。

Black Rock is a Whisky lover's nirvana. Originating from London, the brand is all about bringing flavor to the forefront and helping people discover Whisky in a new way. First launched in 2016, the concept simplified the flavor profiles into sweet, spice, fruit, fragrance, balance and smoke.

hcreates 与Black Rock上海团队合作，改造了上海热门街区富民路一个不起眼的拐角。整个设计概念源自于威士忌，通过不同纹理、暗色调、焦黑色木材、光滑的大理石花纹和斑驳的灯光展现其风味特征与层次，充满了对比元素：明亮与黑暗、平滑与粗糙、光泽与哑光，创造出一种独特的空间体验。‍

hcreates worked with the Shanghai team to convert an unassuming corner site, situated on the popular Fumin Road. The spatial concept was derived from the layering of flavor profiles, subtly expressing this through the varied textures, dark hues, charred timbers, smooth marbling and dappled lighting throughout. A project of contrasts: light and dark, smooth and rough, gloss and matte. ‍

开放式吧台布局增添互动性

THE HUGE TREE TRUNK TABLE AND OPEN BAR AMPLIFIERS THE SENSE OF THEATRE.

酒吧的中心是一个巨大原木树桩长桌。从巴布亚新几内亚进口的两吨重苏门答腊八果木上开凿了两条威士忌陈酿管道。被玻璃覆盖的管道分别连接 21升美国橡木桶和法国利穆赞橡木桶威士忌，可以直接从长桌顶端的龙头供应。

The centerpiece of the space is their huge, tree trunk table, with two Whisky aging channels dug into the two-ton Erima log, imported from Papua New Guinea. The glass covered channels are lined with American Oak and French Limousin Oak, each holding 21L of whiskey, which is served straight from the pouring taps at the end of the trunk.

为了让原木长桌固定在空间中央，我们在末端设计了一个小型大理石吧台。这个独创的开放式酒吧布局让客人沉浸式体验威士忌饮品制作过程，增强了互动性。

To allow the log table to retain the central feature in the room, we created a small marble bar, perched alongside the other end of the log. This unconventional, open bar layout amplifies the sense of theatre as customers are never segregated from the action.

Black Rock的整体是黑暗和神秘的。柔和的琥珀色光芒映照着几乎裸露的肌理墙面。玻璃橱柜里的威士忌如同装饰品般点缀整个空间。黄铜装饰的细节、皮革饰面和定制光影营造出高贵格调，同时又充斥着轻松舒适的氛围。

The space is moody and dark with a soft, amber glow. Walls are left mostly bare and textural, with glass display cases lining the two seating areas. Here the whisky becomes the ornament, each display shelf a journey into a varying flavor profile. Brass detailing, glossy marbles and custom lighting create an elevated look while the plush intimate seating areas maintain a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

总体设计借鉴了威士忌陈酿过程并巧妙运用到实际中，入口处的竖条木纹白天隐藏于黑色立面中，到了晚上灯光开启后的光影想让人一探究竟。

Hints of oak are used subtly throughout, referencing the barrels used in the Whisky aging process. Outside, the striped batten doors provide a sense of intrigue. During the day these camouflage themselves within the blackness of the tiled façade, while at night, they become a beacon, the light filtering out onto the pavement and enticing you inside.

这个项目最大的挑战是在有限的时间内完成空间中心的原木树桩长桌。幸运的是，我们的合作伙伴高效协助完成了树桩的物流和安装工作。

The biggest challenge on this project was the sourcing and construction of the whisky log table. We were fortunate to work with a fantastic supplier that helped us to work out the details and logistics of installing of this larger feature element.

Black Rock开业后获得了业主和酒吧客人的肯定，人们喜欢亲密又轻松的环境，让品鉴威士忌成为一件有趣又有范的事情。我们感谢业主在项目进行过程中的积极协助和推进，得以让创意付诸实践。
