   The artist was born in Mobley, near Cape Town, in 1941.He is a versatile artist.He is both a painter and a sculptor.Roger's works are based on the realistic landscape of the countryside.Local architecture and female characters are the representatives.His works of female characters are very light.With light, transparent and beautiful shadows,Similar in some composition.But they are different in spirit and meaning.
