“太阳的光芒变的极其微弱,海水的异常潮汐使大地被黑暗和雾气笼罩,失去光明的大陆被教会统治着。与此同时被后人尊为神明的“光明殿”开始不断屹立于大地之上,散发着星火一般的冷光,驱散着黑雾也为人们带来了仅存的希望和生存空间。
多年之后,我们已习惯同光明殿相伴而行,穿行于黑雾之中苟延残喘。然而一场神秘的瘟疫突然爆发,导致人们被相继感染并被关到一个叫“哥凡尼斯”的地方。而光明殿的接连倒塌也不断逼迫着人们背井离乡。被教会放逐的青年泰戈尔发现这场瘟疫似乎与多年前教会的密谋有着某种联系。为了追查瘟疫的源头,也为了揭开光明殿坍塌的真相,泰戈尔决定重回黑暗迷雾,开始了一场极尽艰险的救赎之旅。“     (节选自石城小说作品《黑雾》)

黑暗的空间中,一位被捆绑着的青年张开嘴呐喊着。青年的头颅仿佛被稀释成了光束正在逐渐消解掉。我们仿佛可以从张大的嘴中想象出人物呐喊的撕裂声。然而,黑暗的空间却暗示了一种无法逃脱的真空与静默的环境。这是一个人与人,人与社会环境间不断反叛与互相伤害的时代,画面中的一些人甚至被暴力的枪杀,人们在消费主义、娱乐至死的快感中伪装自由,即便当他悲痛或无比压抑时,也无法以敞开心扉的方式去和外界倾诉。然而,没有人在宣扬混乱和仇恨,人们唯一想做的不过是表达那些非常真实却令人不安的真相。那些表情和创伤反映了所处时代记忆中的荒谬,人们小心翼翼的生活,并告诫自己不要声张要隐忍。但我们真的会对许多行为举止看似怪诞的异类产生深层的关注吗?

The author summed up his perception of life from these past hazes. He tried to abandon the complex social relations and return to the most primitive emotions. He wanted to understand the internal relationship between life, death, fear and anger. In his view, the current epidemic may be the best time to find the answer. However, in these frozen and silent memories, Tagore constantly conveys a strong illusion of life in pursuit of freedom, and complex emotions burst out in an instant.

关于艺术家 /About artists
石城这一时期的作品探讨了艺术家及具有反叛精神的人和独裁者在精神内核和血脉上无比相似的特性。艺术家作为每一个时代变革的先锋者,往往是最先站出来反对霸权和独裁的群体,但石城认为,真正的反抗者其深层的精神内核与其攻击的对象往往是如出一辙的。大多数艺术家反叛背后的真正目的是其想方设法保证自己能够在美学、艺术、文学等领域进行“独裁统治”。而那些看上去愤世嫉俗的抨击,恰恰是对独裁系统的认可,因为系统需要呈现一种通过批评来展示异议的面貌,这样的面貌让这个系统看上去更为真实,甚至更民主。真正对系统的颠覆只有当你成为更强大的系统时才有可能发生,但却永远无法保证这个新的系统是会变得包容还是更加权力集中。人性是一种无法改变的自然规律。恶龙之所以为恶龙,不是因为龙本身,而是权力的宝座对人性的催化作用。正因如此,不要相信屠龙能解决问题,也不要把希望寄托在某个具备各种美德的少年身上。屠龙少年最熟悉的就是龙。少年为了屠龙,每日都在学习如何像龙一样思考和行动,于是少年在不知不觉中也变成了龙。
从画面上看,相较于其他类型的架上艺术家,石城不使用任何重复性的符号和图式,他的艺术风格完全依靠与生俱来的笔触和色彩上的天赋高度概括出形体结构并同时传递出强烈的情感,而光怪陆离的构成方式更为直接的建立了一种超现实的、另类的暗黑美学风格。这种追求“传神与写意”的,甚至是从父亲艺术基因里迭代升级的绘画方式让石城的作品在保证风格独树一帜的同时又能看到西方绘画大师们的踪影。然而,石城对父亲将“行为”引入绘画的这一观念报以怀疑态度,相较于现实中的“行为”,石城更愿意在构建宏大世界观的文字创作中梳理出绘画中的观念,其梳理过程亦涵盖了极其复杂的将图像、记忆、文字、情绪转换到画笔上的“烧脑劳作”。在这一层面上,石城在研究绘画的更多可能性上的热枕与父亲苦行僧般的绘画信念又是极其相似的。
从观念上看,石城的作品无一不质疑着当代社会秩序下的真实面目,及深藏于文明外壳下人“本我”中的兽性与奴性。他巧妙的以一种半开放的方式构建起自己和虚构世界人物之间的紧密关系,以一种将美学与文学结合的构架来对现实进行映射及回响。是一位有着超现实主义世界观并对架上绘画报以边界延伸诉求的青年艺术家。

The highly contrasting tone makes the atmosphere between the works always maintain a sense of unity and mystery, and the bizarre composition more directly establishes a surreal and alternative dark aesthetic style. These works all question the true face of the contemporary social order and the beast and servility hidden in the "Id" of human beings under the shell of civilization. ISHINOMAKI cleverly builds a close relationship between himself and Tagore in the fictional world in a semi crossing way, and uses this unique aesthetic framework to reflect and fight back against reality. He is a easel painting artist who has a surreal world view and breaks the traditional presentation form.
