《消失在树里》是我正在做的一个可持续性由行为展开的媒介作品，用影像和绘画来共同呈现。英国访学期间，我被巴斯古老的参天树群深深吸引，他们威严耸立、枝叶繁密、层层叠叠的长枝曳地轻舞，像是一个会写诗句的哲学家又或是一个神秘的预言者。树是自然界最古老也是和这个世界维系时间最久的的生物之一，我敬畏于他们的灵性和精神，尤其当我真的小心翼翼进入她（他）的王者领域，我既被保护同时也消失了。树沉默着，我也沉默着，我们一起呼吸、感受彼此、我在这里幻想她（他）的经历，幻想成为她（他）的一部分，事实上我认为这也是我与世界的关系之一。
"Disappearing in the Trees" is a medium work I am doing that is sustainable through behavior, which is co-presented by video and painting. During my study visit in the UK, I was deeply attracted by the ancient towering trees in Bath. They stand majestically, with dense branches and long branches dancing lightly, like a philosopher who can write poetry or a mysterious prophet. Trees are one of the oldest creatures in nature and the longest-lasting creatures in this world. I am in awe of their spirituality and spirit, especially when I enter her (his) king's realm carefully, I am protected and disappear at the same time . The tree was silent, and I was silent, we breathed together, felt each other, and I was here imagining her (his) experiences, imagining being a part of her (his), and in fact I think that's one of my relationships with the world.

《最后的仪式》创作于2020年末至2021年初，武汉因为疫情而被封城76天之后。作为我的第一个实验性影像制作，包含了行为表演、音乐剪辑、诗歌，作为不能忘却的纪念。
《无数火焰升向天空》创作于2020年2月，也就是被封闭在家的那段时间。不能去画室的那段日子，让我对创作媒介的思路更加开放。
"The Last Ceremony" was created from late 2020 to early 2021, after Wuhan was locked down for 76 days due to the epidemic. As my first experimental video production, it includes performances, music clips, poetry, as an unforgettable memorial.
"Countless Flames Rising to the Sky" was created in February 2020, during the period of being closed at home. The days when I couldn't go to the studio made me more open to my creative medium.

2022年在英国创作的《无名肖像》系列大多画于纸板上，我选用使用过的带有个人信息的纸板，画上新的无名肖像，他们来自街上的或新闻图片中的陌生人，这个新的“人”覆盖了纸板上那个有信息的“人”。在废纸板上的肖像摈弃了肖像画的高贵格局，却正是大多人类命运的无常和卑微的写照，我想借此将不同的个体身份打乱并形成新的虚拟群体，他们都丧失了原有的身份，并在沉默的瞬间状态中无限接近，人类的荣耀或悲伤在群体的宿命中最终将走向一致。
Most of the "Unknown Portraits" series created in the UK in 2022 are painted on cardboard. I choose used cardboard with personal information to paint new unknown portraits, they are from strangers on the street or in news pictures , this new "person" covers the informational "person" on the cardboard. The portrait on waste cardboard abandons the noble pattern of portrait painting, but it is the portrayal of the impermanence and humbleness of the fate of most human beings. I want to use this to disrupt the identities of different individuals and form a new virtual group. They have lost their original identity and infinitely close in the momentary state of silence, the glory or sorrow of human beings will eventually move towards unity in the fate of the group.

Gao Hong's artistic research fields include easel painting, installation, video, etc. She always pays attention to the spiritual encounter of individual life, the judgment of the self, and explores the inner relationship between "I" and the world. The themes of her works often show the characteristics of pain, alienation, and magical reality. Her representative works include the series "Blooming in Secret" and "Flowers of Pessimism". Her works are collected by Hubei Museum of Art, Guan Shanyue Art Museum, Fine Arts Literature Art Center, Luohu Art Museum, Youpin Space and other institutions.
