In the past few years there’s been a fundamental shift in how we view and experience the world.
We’re all reflecting on what’s truly important — reassessing our relationships with our workplaces, communities and cities, rediscovering the power of shared cultural and nature-based experiences and prioritising the health of our planet.
Over the next few months, we’ll bring together ideas on reconnecting people, reviving culture and reinventing cities for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Starting from today, we’ll share conversations, insights and research on topics including the six qualities of great urban places, why city makers should design for spontaneity, what makes a magnetic workplace, how to design more inclusive, sustainable infrastructure and innovation precincts — and many more.
At a very high level, creating social impact is about increasing the capacity for communities to thrive. And when we talk about thriving communities, the role of design is key.
