在台湾，因众多的街头小吃可以选择，所以大多数人都在外面吃早餐。随之而来的是大量的食物浪费。典型的例子：在售卖三明治的商店中，常常可以看到堆积如山的面包皮。

In Taiwan, most people eat breakfast outside because of the numerous street food options available. With this comes a huge amount of food waste. A typical example: in shops selling sandwiches, it is common to see mountains of crusts of bread.

品牌创始人，受到每个「早餐吧」里，随处可见的当地防油三明治包装袋的启发，TOASTea 用未使用的吐司皮酿造成了特别的“精酿啤酒”——「三明治和红茶」液体早餐组合。

Inspired by the local greaseproof sandwich bags found in every 'breakfast bar', the brand's founder, Toastea, has brewed a special 'craft beer' - a 'sandwich and black tea' liquid breakfast combination - from unused toast crusts.

TOASTea is the brand's response and action to the problem of local food waste in everyday life in Taiwan. The material of the bottle, too, is made 100% from recycled plastic bags and recycled grain waste used to brew this beer.

TOASTea has collaborated with local contemporary artist - with Haisin Huang - to reinterpret a new breakfast vibe with cute and light-hearted illustrations. One can always find a resemblance to oneself in the cartoon characters on the bags of unknown origin but whimsical in nature!
