Just as the colors of abstract paintings or photos can produce certain emotions, the colors of buildings or rooms can also profoundly affect the user's feelings. Red is an infectious color. Let's take a look at the visual shock of "China Red" in architecture and landscape:

千红花钵道

在马当路和淡水路之间创造了一条目的地式的漫步道，一个新的愉快的旅程。遮阳百叶投下一道道阴影，巨大的花钵包围着窗户，赋予这里的存在（们）一种神秘感，也通过创造出一片四季变换色彩的灌木植物和色彩缤纷的花卉来保护着他们。层间的外墙涂着不同的棕色、琥珀色、橘色和各种红色。

Create a destination style walking path between Madang Road and Danshui Road, a new pleasant journey. The sun shading shutters cast shadows. Huge flower bowls surround the windows, giving the existence (people) a sense of mystery. They also protect them by creating a piece of shrubs and colorful flowers that change colors throughout the year. The exterior walls between floors are painted in different brown, amber, orange and various red colors.

未迟 – 宿云涧

设计中利用场所的秩序关系，将入口放置于山脚的树林，林中步道拾阶而上，路径序列在叙事中展开，参与者似乎经历了某种洗礼仪式，从单一的感知中释放出来，丰富了体验纬度，倾听着这座红色房子的低声吟唱，安抚了来自尘世间，风尘仆仆的心境。

In the design, I use the order relationship to place the entrance in the woods at the foot of the mountain. With the trails stepped up, the path sequence unfolds in the narrative. The participants seem to have experienced a certain baptism ritual, released from a single perception, enriched the experience latitude. While listening to the whispering chant of this red house, it appeased the mood from the earthly world.

北京雀巢感CAFÉ

改造中，我们通过一种“软性介入”的手法，把一种很当代的意象和空间的原型代入到这个院子，和它的传统院落无论是从虚体空间还是从实质的关系，产生一种叠合。这种叠合给予了我们对于这个院子空间的一种全新的认知和体验方式。

In this reconstruction, the design team put a very contemporary image and spatial prototype into the courtyard through a “soft approach”. In this way, the design created a kind of overlap with its original courtyard both from virtual and real space. This combination applied a new way of perceiving and experiencing the courtyard space.

地平线上的红色音符之屋

建筑是一种特殊的生命体，当他开始与地平线对话时，会获得一种超然的力量。这种力量能够形成一种氛围，让人陶醉其间。这次我们希望用一个小建筑，在大地乐章中，深深嵌入一个高音。

Architecture is a special kind of life. When it begins to talk to the horizon, it will gain a transcendental power. This power creates an atmosphere that is intoxicating. This time we hope to use a small building to deeply embed a high pitch in the earth movement.

李子沟村的红砖自然礼堂

通过对场地周边大量的调研，设计师发现了当地早期民居—土窑，以及后期以拱券形式为单位的红砖民居。设计师将这种形式看为当地具有情感记忆的建筑语言，并将它延用到当代的空间形式与功能中，尝试去发掘新的表现可能性。除了仪式厅以外，还有自然礼堂配套建筑为了到访者与村民居住、阅读、学习、休憩、绘画、务农、做饭，沉浸于此去体验当地生活。

Through numerous dialogues and research in the neighborhood area, we found a common archetype of house – the earth cave house in the form of an arch. The later forms combine houses with red brick elements with more arches. We continue the common language of arches and red bricks combined with new functions and new spacial dimensions. Beside the ceremonial hall, there is a living space for living, studying and farming for visitors and villagers. Together they can explore and communicate a lifestyle with space for contemplation and healthy conscious living.
