MAD认为，城市公共空间和体育建筑属性如叠合，应把体育竞技和百姓生活的日常运动带到同一界面。首先，场地是与自然相接、开放、共享、属于市民的城市公共空间。而“竞技场”本身隐喻的竞争和力量，则可通过建筑自身和建造技艺“消隐”于大地景观。
MAD believes that if the attributes of urban public space and sports buildings overlap, sports competition and daily sports of people's life should be brought to the same interface. First of all, the site is an urban public space connected with nature, open, shared and belonging to citizens. The competition and power implied by the "arena" itself can be "hidden" from the landscape through the architecture itself and construction techniques.
形似陨石坑的三万人体育场匍匐在大地上，巨大看台结构被隐藏，建筑体量消失。立面被绿植所覆盖，成为景观本身。
The stadium of 30000 people, which looks like a meteorite crater, crawls on the earth. The huge grandstand structure is hidden, and the building volume disappears. The facade is covered by green plants and becomes the landscape itself.

The Russell Stadium, the core venue built by Foster+Partners for the 2022FIFA Qatar World Cup, has been put into use.
体育场的外观为一个抛光的金色容器，在阳光下闪闪发光。立面具有三角形开口，在视觉上通过斜交网格强调了碗的结构，形成了一个穿孔的屏障，为内部大厅提供了阴凉和过滤后的斑驳光线。高性能的立面和创新屋顶设计降低了体育场的能源消耗，室外冷却技术可最大限度地提高露天体育场内的舒适度。项目在全球可持续发展评估系统中获得了五星等级。
The exterior of the stadium is a polished gold container, which glitters in the sun. The facade has a triangular opening, which visually emphasizes the structure of the bowl through the oblique grid, forming a perforated barrier, providing a cool and filtered mottled light for the inner hall. High performance facade and innovative roof design reduce the energy consumption of the stadium, and outdoor cooling technology can maximize the comfort in the stadium. The project has obtained a five-star rating in the global sustainable development assessment system.
洛杉矶索菲体育场
洛杉矶索菲体育场与众不同的设计，旨在体现南加州悠闲的生活方式，并为该地区成为世界级娱乐中心增添全新的建筑元素。这座占地 288,000 平方米的体育场采用了前所未有的设计元素，无论是露天的大厅还是球场上方的360 度双面显示屏，都迅速使这座建筑在全球备受瞩目。
SoFi Stadium was designed to be unlike any stadium anywhere, a reflection of Southern California’s laid-back lifestyle and an addition to the world-class entertainment venues the region is known for. From open-air concourses to a 360-degree dual screen video board above the field, the 3.1 million square-foot stadium (288,000 sq. meters) has quickly taken its place on the global stage with design elements never seen before at a sports venue.
卢森堡体育场足球及橄榄球场
新体育场的球场尺寸及空间方案符合国际准则，既符合欧足联最高级别体育场馆类别IV标准，也符合国际橄榄球委员会IRB标准。从类型上看，该设计采用了矩形单层看台的方案，四个对角座位区采用斜边设计，其看台一直延伸至赛场边。
The size of the pitch and the facilities at the new arena follow international guidelines, meaning that both the top UEFA stadium category IV and that of the International Rugby Board (IRB) are achieved. The stadium features an orthogonal layout with a single tier and diagonally-truncated corner areas, with the grandstand reaching all the way down to the edge of the pitch.

这三座体育馆在平面上呈正方形，由一个共同的基座相连。由银色铝制元素构成的百叶幕墙使建筑群从远处看极为耀眼。银色铝百叶朝幕墙中心方向逐渐翻转打开，展现出内部不同功能空间的形态及颜色。建筑与基座之间的玻璃幕墙向内退进，形成了各个建筑单体的入口区。
The three gymnasiums are square in plan and connected by a common base. The louver curtain wall composed of silver aluminum elements makes the building complex dazzling from a distance. The silver aluminum louver gradually turns and opens towards the center of the curtain wall, showing the shape and color of different functional spaces inside. The glass curtain wall between the building and the base retreats inward, forming the entrance area of each single building.
