《绘画论》（codex urbinas）中，达芬奇说，影子是物体的镜子；没有影子，人们会很难正确理解坚硬、不透明的物体。
In “Codex Urbinas”, Da Vinci said that shadow is an object’s mirror; without shadows, it is difficult for people to understand hard and opaque objects correctly.
伽利略的《星际信使》（sidereus nuncius）知道影子具有可以大大拉长或缩小自身，或收缩到几乎消失的能力，这揭示了月球表面坑坑洼洼的神秘面纱，并说给我一个影子，我将为你创造形状。
Galileo’s “Sidereus Nuncius” knows that the shadow has the ability to greatly stretch or shrink itself, or shrink to almost disappear. This reveals the mysterious veil on the surface of the moon, and tells me a shadow that I will create a shape for you.
黑色，定义为基本上没有任何可见光进入视觉范围，与白色正相反。
黑色是可以吸收一切的颜色，既不能反射，也无法穿透。
黑色是最具隐私感、安全感的颜色。
Black is defined as basically no visible light entering the visual range, which is the opposite of white.
Black can absorb all colors, neither reflex nor penetrate.

黑色也是摄影师热衷的终极颜色。
